Frequently Asked Questions

How do I win the competition?

Each week, we'll give you a challenge. Complete the challenge, take a photo of the results and email them to 2010wwrc@gmail.com. We'll upload the photo to a Photo Album on the contest Facebook page, which is located here. Get your family and friends to vote for your photo and comment on it. Remember: You don't have to do every challenge and you can make up weeks that you missed. In the final round, you'll lay it all on the line by designing and completing a challenge to prove that you're the ultimate wheelchair rugby super fan. This round will be worth double the points. The contestant with the most overall number of votes and comments will be the winner!

Who can enter the competition?

The contest is open to residents of Canada (excluding Quebec residents) who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence as of July 21st 2010. Employees and their parents, siblings and children, and persons domiciled with an employee of any of the Sponsors are not eligible to enter or win: B.C. Wheelchair Sports Association, The Flight Shops Inc dba FLIGHT CENTRE, and the 2010 World Wheelchair Rugby Association ("2010WWRC") and their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertisers, sponsors, advertising, and promotion agencies, referred to as “Sponsors.”

Can I work in a team?
You may work alone or in a pair. Since the trip is for only two (2) people, you may not have more than two (2) people on your team. Please ensure that you send all of the entries from a single email account. Please note that Contestants can have outside assistance in completing challenges, but no more than two (2) people can be designated the Contestant of any one (1) Photo.

What if I miss a week or enter the contest late?
You do not have to enter every week and you can make up weekly challenges. If, for example, you do not begin the competition until Week 3, you can still complete the challenges for Week 1 and Week 2. The only advantage of entering on time is that you have a longer time to amass votes.

What if I don't complete a challenge?
You don't have to complete every challenge. You can complete as many or as few as you'd like.

How do I win the competition?
The contestant who amasses the greatest number of votes by September 1st will be declared the winner. The formula will be as follows:
Week 1 Challenge Entry: (# of votes) + (# of comments) = W1
Week 2 Challenge Entry: (# of votes) + (# of comments) = W2
Week 3 Challenge Entry: (# of votes) + (# of comments) = W3
Contestant’s Choice Round Entry: 2(# of votes) + 2(# of comments) = CC
W1 + W2 + W3 + W4 + CC = Final Total
